Skyler Schaet is an Associate Attorney with Schefer Petric & Simpson in their West Palm Beach Office. Ms. Schaet earned her Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Florida State University in 2020. She then attended Florida International University College of Law, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2024, finishing in the top 10% of her class.

During her time in law school, Ms. Schaet clerked for SPS Lawyers gaining valuable experience. She also volunteered for the Palm Beach State Attorney and the Palm Beach Public Defender’s office as a Certified Legal Intern (CLI) where she gained insight into both prosecution and defense strategies, further deepening her understanding of criminal justice. She was actively involved in FIU’s Moot Court Board of Appellate Advocacy and competed in the inaugural Claude Pepper Elder Law Competition, where her team secured first place.

Ms. Schaet was admitted to the Florida Bar in August 2024. Now, she focuses her practice on defense of Employer/Carriers in worker’s compensation cases, and is dedicated to achieving positive results for her clients.
